The process consisted of several steps: fit interview with hiring manager, a case study, technical interview with team members and final interview with team lead.
I applied for Data Analyst Intern position in November 2020 and was promptly contacted by hiring manager after the application to set a video interview date. The first interview was conducted in a friendly manner, with some basic questions about myself, my experience and motivation.
The case study was a practical exercise in Data Analytics in Python, which was to be competed in four days (which is ample time), and the results had to be presented in a slide deck.
The technical interview with the team included questions on relevant past experience in ad tech, familiarity with business terms, and some questions on SQL.
The final interview with head of Data Analyst was more of a talk about myself and a detailed explanation of work that I would be doing.
Overall, the hiring process was pleasant and very comfortable. I did not experience any pressure neither during the three interviews, nor during the case study. The whole process was rather quick and not very time consuming.
