I applied for a role at Adanola and, after four weeks, was invited to a phone interview with the Talent Executive. The call went well, and two weeks later I was invited for an in-person interview, which was also a positive experience. I was told to expect an update within two weeks.
After the two week period passed, I heard nothing. I followed up once and received no response. I followed up again a week later—still nothing from their Talent Executive.
Ghosting candidates after multiple stages of the interview process is both unprofessional and disrespectful. Regardless of the final decision, basic courtesy would be to follow up with a clear response. This experience reflects poorly on the company’s culture and how it treats people who express genuine interest in working there.
I hope Adanola takes candidate experience more seriously in the future.
