      Interview

I had a great, positive in-person interview. A week later, the email came back. 85% not interested in me. 15% interested. What did that mean? I was a transparent 2nd choice. I accepted the role but then later changed my mind.

      Application

The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Achievement First

      Interview

I applied and immediately got a response directing me to fill out a series of short answer questions. Questions basically asking me about my philosophy of education. About a day later, I got a link directing me to participate a one-way interview. I really liked this initial interview. I was presented with a series of questions, and had to record each answer in 60 seconds. But I had the opportunity to get my words together and answer each question effectively. Then I was emailed two days later saying that I made it to the final round! I taught at an AF school, they gave me a tour, and I was interviewed. The interview process wasn't nerve racking, it felt like a regular conversation. Also, they provided us with interview "pre-work". We had to watch a few videos, look at lesson plans and answer questions. So that helped the interview flow easier, because I had an idea of what I wanted to say because of the pre- work. A week later I got offered a job! And accepted:)
