I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Achievement First (New York, NY) in Dec 2015
Interview
Phone screen led to in-person demo lesson. Conversation with recruiter and principal before and after the demo lesson. Qualified candidates may be offered the job on the spot. The most qualified candidates are those who take and incorporate the in-the-moment feedback during their demo lesson and incorporate it real-time and reflect on it during the debrief.

The interview process seemed to be quite simple and straight forward. I spoke with a recruiter after I applied and did a phone interview with them before setting up an interview for in person with the principal. The entire process was pretty straight forward and explained prior to the in person interview.
