Ace Parking interview questions

This was an initial interview with the talent/recruiter guy, so he did not know everything about the position. The position was also new, and seemed like it was created because the company needed to be compliant relating to OSHA... He asked standard questions about previous safety experience, which industries, etc.

It started off as a great process, and the hiring manager was very communicative. I had a virtual interview which went great and was invited to interview in person at their San Diego location which included a prepared presentation portion. The interview and presentation took an hour, everyone was exceptionally kind and forthcoming regarding the process. I went in on a Tuesday and was told I would hear back Friday. Friday came along and I heard nothing so I followed up. I was told there was a delay and I'd hear back the following week. No communication again, so I followed up and asked for an update. I was now told they were traveling and to again wait until the following week. I waited a full two weeks and sent a follow up response as I was very excited about this position. I received no response and was essentially ghosted by the company. Asking a candidate to show up in person, take time out of their day and create a presentation which took 4 hours to create all to ghost me at the end came off as extremely unprofessional and disrespectful of my time and professional effort. I will not be considering employment with ACE in the future due to this treatment. It would have taken 30 seconds of their time to mention they were not moving forward with my application. Therefore there is no excuse for ghosting people like this in my opinion.
