A discussion with the HR function, then an electronic IQ test followed by 5, either 1:1 or team interviews. Everyone was really nice but there was not much alignment across teams because they all asked the same basic questions. The company story sounded like 2 years of turmoil with issues blamed on various people. 2 years is far too long to build without launching anything - company strategy, vision and ability to execute is highly suspect. I can only imagine how they will struggle with the challenges that come with a launched product. That being said, the mission is amazing and I do hope they succeed.
The thing that really rubbed me the wrong way was after many hours of my time in this executive interview process, they ended it with an auto-generated 'we received many qualified applicants and decided to move ahead with a different qualified candidate' email from Greenhouse. In all my days, I've never seen such a lack of professionalism in the hiring process. In the end, I'm glad I dodged this bullet!
