      Angular Developer Interview

      27 Oct 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Dublin, Dublin
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Accela, Inc. (Dublin, Dublin) in Sept 2020

      Interview

There was no initial phone call. They had my recruiter send me a technical test saying that it should take 2 hrs. First of all, 2hrs is a long test and if you didn't even have an initial call, how would you even know if you want to work there? Second of all, there is no way anyone would be able to finish the test in 2 hrs. No way. It was more like 6-12 hrs. They wanted a fully functional application with 4 pages in it along with authentication. Are you for real? Are you asking me to do free work here? The test wasn't difficult but it's not a reasonable test to ask people who already have jobs. Could have just stopped at one page to see if the person can code or not.
