Abound Credit Union interview questions

This review is not for myself, but my partner. They applied over 2 months ago to a job posting that was touted as being "100% remote". They went through multiple assessments and interviews with various hiring managers and accountant supervisors. They did a fantastic job, as was stated by all the interviewers that they'd had. However, during the final interview with the CFO, they were pressured by said CFO into committing to coming into the office at least once or twice a year. This would have required not only commuting during a pandemic, it would have also required air travel as we're based in a different state than the office is. They politely declined, with the caveat that there could be a trip made once the pandemic has ended. 3 weeks pass, we get word that they're checking references, performing background checks, etc. Then, another week passes, and we receive word that they'd been rejected. That despite the glowing interviews, incredible references, and being a perfect fit for the company, that due to them being unable to commit to traveling across state lines during a PANDEMIC, that they wouldn't be able to offer them the job, despite the fact that it had been listed as 100% remote. Disingenuous, despicable behavior, with no respect for someones time. If this is the way they treat their at-risk folks before they're even hired, I'd hate the see what its like when they work there.

The interview was fun and laid back. I had an overall good experience when I was interviewed. The interviewers were very nice and not pushy. They allowed me to take my time when answering questions and were not pushy. The questions were not off the wall or repetitive, and there were even some funny questions they asked just to get a feel for the kind of person I am. I felt very comfortable the entire interview.
