Group interview of around ten or so people, quick twenty minutes of general questions (why do you want to work there, what are your strengths/weaknesses), usually with store or assistant manager. Offer via phone call within a week.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch in Apr 2011
Interview
You can be recruited to the position. Regardless of whether or not you're recruited you're asked to fill out a form on a computer that is next to the cashwrap where you're asked a lot of questions like any other application. After that you're asked to choose a date for a group interview. At the time of the interview you usually are taken outside the store and given a bunch of questions as a group. After the interview the interviewing manager says that you should hear back from the company within a x number of days and you're done.
I interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch (Glendale, CA)
Interview
I applied online and then I received a call back asking to come in for a group interview. The group interviews were held outside the store. There were about 6 of us in one group. We went around the circle answering questions.
