I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch (Costa Mesa, CA) in Dec 2014
Interview
They are always hiring and recruiting, so they do weekly or bi-weekly interviews every Tuesday and Friday. These are usually in groups and are pretty laid-back. When recruiting, managers immediately look for young and attractive people to represent their brand. The interview itself is to see if the person can back up their look with good customer service and an ability to carry out the brand's values as well.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The managers have a sheet with questions that they choose from and most of them center around the brand's values and your views on them.
One on one individual interview that encourages you to dress the part for the image of Abercrombie. Group interviews allow you share your thoughts while bouncing off of each others’ input.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch (Santa Barbara, CA)
Interview
A manager sat a group of us down outside the store somewhere within the mall. They asked specific questions about the Abercrombie style and brand. They didn't ask much about the candidates individually. This was many years ago, so I'm sure it's different now.

Interview
Small group interview in the mall round table questions. Easy, don’t copy the other answers that’s it. Hear back pretty quick. Overall great vibe would highly recommend it to college students
