Interview
Met face to face with hiring manager, direct reports and Sr. Director. Hiring manager clearly did not want to interview me and had other candidates resumes right in front of me. She rushed the interview, did not allow me to ask questions and pushed me onto the next interview with direct reports.. Meeting with direct reports went very well as did my interview with the Sr. Manager. I was told they wanted to hire someone ASAP, but did not hear from the recruiter for 2 weeks when I reached out to her. I was told I was in the running for the position but 2 weeks later was informed I was not selected. Later found out I was only being interviewed as a “backup plan” in case the primary candidate declined.

Average difficulty interview, asked about my experience in product development, quality systems, and product launch. The questions were highly variable on the interviewer. Eg. technical team members asked technical questions, managers asked behavioral/conflict resolution types of questions.
