I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at ATR International (Sunnyvale, CA)
Interview
Interviewed with multiple people including CEO. Typical questions around recruiting and working off hours to get fills. Likes go getters and creativity. Scenario based questions and understanding of technology. Each round was about 3 days apart, whole process a couple weeks
The process took 1 week. I interviewed at ATR International (Austin, TX)
Interview
The first interview was very straight forward with HR talking about the company culture and how I would fit in. I accepted the interview because a friend that worked there raved about the company.
I then met with the owner and immediately was thrown off by his standoffish attitude. The subject of commission structure came up, not in terms of money, but how recruiters are paid. I was then astonished to learn that I would not get paid commission until “he could make some money on me”. In other words, they needed to make a profit off of me before commission would be paid. That is simply despicable and unheard of in sales or recruiting and offers no incentive to perform. I got up and left without saying a word, what a waste of time.
I would t have accepted an offer if I had stuck out the interview.

Question 1
Standard questions about work ethic and interpersonal skills, nothing remarkable.
I applied online. I interviewed at ATR International
Interview
Applied online today for an entry level recruiter role and received a call about an hour later. The guy proceeds to give me an immediate phone interview and rip apart my resume and was very rude. Proceeds to tell me I'm not qualified for an entry level role without even giving me time to prepare. Don't waste your time.
