Interview with hiring manager to discuss prior product management experience and suitability for role. They were high level questions. I was told that they would provide feedback and update on next steps within a few days. No feedback was given and hiring manager and recruiter then ignored my subsequent emails. Inconsiderate and time wasting.

The interview process was very simple. HR had reached out to me on linkedin with the opportunity and the gauge interest. One week later I was scheduled for an interview with the Director of Product, the interview lasted just under 1 hour. Although I did not get an offer this was the only time I have ever gotten real feedback after an interview instead of being ghosted or getting a generic rejection. Ametek seems to operate in smaller independent business units so I can't speak for all of them but the Ametek power instruments division in Rochester New york definitely seems like a good place to work.
