Initially, there was a first round of interviewing, and this was a group interview consisting of 8 people in total. As a group we were provided with multiple scenarios (We were each distributed a sheet that detailed the scenarios), and after reading it over, we had to collaboratively work out how we would handle that given scenario. After this we were given a very simple maths test that most people shouldn't struggle with, it consisted of basic arithmetic as well as several questions where you had to scrupulously read over product tags, ensuring that there was consistency with products labels and UPC etc. We were also asked what our favourite ALDI product was and why - so if you've never really been to or purchased anything from ALDI, be prepared to make something up, and make it convincing! If you're succesful in the group interview, there is a 2nd round of interviewing, and this was a simple 1-to-1 interview. Here they asked more personal questions, very basic things, including why you want to work for ALDI, what you know about the company, and why you think you would be a good fit for the ALDI phiosophy. The final part of the interview consisted of scenario questions - the questions I recieved were along the lines of 'You have a customer complaint and the store is busy while you're working at the tills, what task do you prioritise and why?' and also 'You're working in the warehouse and an incorrect delivery arrives, your manager is in a meeting for 30 minutes and it's just begun, what do you do?'
