I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at ALDI (Bolton, England) in Jan 2018
Interview
First of all it starts with an online application which is fairly straight forward from what i remember. once you've completed this you will either receive an email asking for you to register for a group interview or sorry you've not been successful, but they would like to keep your record on file, which they then mail every few month to see if your still interested. I applied in August 2017 finally got the group interview invite in January.
At the group interview you are shown a slideshow, a tour of the warehouse and shown what the process is. Then your asked to do 2 basic tests, one maths and one literacy. Very basic. Once you've passed that you will be invited to a one to one interview. If your successful at this stage you will be invited to a work trial which is between an hour and two hours, if you get this far you've pretty much got the job, just make sure your enthusiastic and ask questions. it does seem long winded but they pay well, so they will always have people wanting to work there.
Lengthy application form online heard back within the week to invite for an assessment centre this had around 25 people present. Consisted of a tour of the warehouse then a basic maths and logic test. Within a week next step was invite to an interview 1 on 1 nothing to heavy just asked how you think you Will fit in and a general chat on your employment history. Called with jon offer 3 days later. Quite a drawn out process but I'm guessing it weeds out the time wasters and people without basic common knowledge.

Question 1
How do you see yourself fitting in a warehouse enviroment.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at ALDI (Swindon, Wiltshire, South West England, England) in Jul 2024
Interview
Applied online, was sent invitation to attent a group assessment the following week. As per the invitation, the assessment was between 5.00 pm and 6.00 pm, but started late and finished at 6.30 pm. I didn't like the manager's attitude and the spent most of the time going through a presentation and saying you need to achieve this and that. Definitely not a group assessment; instead to identify who was going to do as instructed.
