Interview
Went to a hiring event and handed in my application while dressed nicely.
The district manager asked me around 5 questions to determine eligibility for the job. A handshake and that was it.
Had to wait for a call for a regular interview which took 1 week. Asked some basic questions similar to other places but was entirely conducted while doing a store "tour". Kinda awkward trying to do an interview while moving around customers.
After that interview I waited another week to do one with the store manager. Same exact process, we did the store tour but he was more relaxed and easier to relate with.
After that, it took 2 weeks for an offer of employment from the DM. I accepted immediately and then it took another 2 weeks to do a drug screen and backround check. After that I was called about a start date.
Total time took 2 months.

Tell me an example of how you dealt with an irate customer over a specific issue.
I was invited to a group interview where we walked around the store and toured the backroom where products are loaded and stocked. This was followed by an individual interview with the store manager.

How do you approach team building and teamwork? How would you handle a difficult situation? How do you define customer service? Where do you see yourself in five years? Is the customer always right?
Group interview, 26 people at the same store. 35 were invited to attend. Store tour and overview. Waited as they called us randomly for a quick 3-5 min interview. Took about 90 mins.

Interview
It was a basic one on one interview where the manager went over the basics of the job and I concurred I had experience in all of the shelve stocking and customer service aspects of the job from my time as a Produce clerk. It lasted about 10 minutes and then I was asked to leave.
