Online behavioural questionnaire followed by an online mock market-making game. Then a remote phone call with a trader that tests mathematical ability, followed by in-person final round interview at their Chicago office
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
If there are exactly 5 people and exactly 5 seats gathered around a round table, what are the chances that those 5 people will sit in perfectly ascending or descending age order?
The interview process consists of an online assessment, phone screen, phone interview, and final interview. The phone screen was with a recruiter, the phone interview was with a trader, and the final interview was with a trader.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at AKUNA CAPITAL (Chicago, IL)
Interview
Did the Options 201 course. It consisted of math and options questions. Top performers of the course move on to a behavioral interview. Very standard behavioral questions like "why trading" / "why Akuna".
Good. some questions are hard but others are easy, the pace is good. overall it's average. I didnt pass. I've no idea why. But I think the interview process is fair.
