Submitted application online and was given link to coding interview within to weeks. I took the challenge in c++ which I have been using for simulations and data processing in my materials science research for the last 5 years. I got brutalized by the time limit and am questioning my intelligence after the exam. It is sad because I have developed advanced Monte-Carlo algorithms in my research and implemented them in c++ but have no chance to demonstrate those skills to the recruitment team.

Super slow for rejection letter. Not sure why they ghosted they wouldn’t even bother to follow up to show some professionalism I heard they also rescind many new grad offers in 2023. Very unprofessional and selfish
