      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AG Barr (Cumbernauld, Scotland) in May 2022

      Interview

4 stage application process: Stage 1: Initial application for position with CV, covering letter etc. Stage 2: First stage interview which consisted of a face to face interview with the hiring manager and Senior member of staff within the team. Questions were mixed with technical and comptenacy based: "Give me an explanation of the Project Life Cycle and how its broken down" "How do you define project stakeholders & whats the stakeholder management process" "Give me an example of when you demonstrated innovation that added value to the business" "Why do you want to work in this position & what attracts you to the company" etc etc. Stage 3: numerical, literacy & personality tests. Tests are quite difficult & are tightly timed, so be prepared before you start them. Stage 4: Final face to face interview with the same personnel which included a 10 minute presentation on how you would manage an engineering project & stakeholder management. Followed by another round of questions on your technical ability, knowledge of project management, professional development and so on. Succession of all stages is followed by the offer.
