I applied online. I interviewed at ABS Kids (Salt Lake City, UT) in Jul 2020
Interview
There were a series of 2 online and 1 in person interviews. The company asked a series of questions about interacting with children. I fortunately had a lot of experience.

Question 1
What would you do if a client ran away in the middle of a session?
Very chill, seemed to do some quick questions about why you are interested, but overall, it seems like ABA is a field with quick turnover and a real shortage of workers because the whole process moved really fast. The entire interview honestly felt like an onboarding, and the interviewer was kind of pitching the job to me.
The first part of the interview was an online video format which gave you an extended amount of time to collect your thoughts before recording your answer and submitting the video. There were about 5 questions.
The second interview was over the phone. The phone interview was about 10 to 15 minutes.

Question 1
The video format asked general questions such as your prior experience with children and your availability. The question I took more time to collect my thoughts on asked for an anecdote regarding a situation in which I addressed a challenging behavior with a child with Autism. You could skip the question if you did not have prior experience.
