Absolute waste of time. I was contacted via staffing agency for a manager position in Rotterdam (I did not look for them, they came to me...). Regular job interview. Except a weird question about my partner - expect odd balls like this. After two interviews they would not proceed with my application. I was told I was overqualified but sounded a bit like good old fashion age discrimination to me (as they also told me they went for a "more junior leader to grow within the company"). Lesson companies never learnt: don't call people for their qualification, if you're not going to hire them due to their qualifications. That's a waste of everybody's time.
