I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at A Thinking Ape (Waterloo, ON) in May 2015
Interview
It was two back to back white-board coding interviews with 2-3 engineers in each interview. Jumped straight to the coding questions after a short introduction. Database design question for the first interview followed by algorithm question in the second interview. Interviewers were friendly and guiding- they eventually guided me to answer the problem and wasn't condescending. Overall a good experience.

Interview
The recruiter was very helpful, she explained what to expect and responded to my questions quickly. I was out of Vancouver for vacation and they let me do the interview over Skype. And they let me know the result the same day.
The interview itself was really fun. It was two separate interviews with two different people. Both of them were engaging and I truly enjoyed the time I spent on the interview. It felt more like an enjoyable conversation with a friend about a problem you both are interested in.
Although they were 10 minutes late which made me very nervous.
