Interview
The initial phone screen with HR was very enthusiastic and quick, but thorough. The HR assistant who was also friendly contacted me within a day or to for the next step which was to speak with the VP over the phone. My phone call with the VP was not so great (he didn't seem very interested from the start). After that call, nothing but crickets. I reached out at least two times for an update and have been ignored. I can understand not being impressed with me as a candidate, but I find it disrespectful to engage with someone this far in the interview process and not follow up to at least say "thanks but no thanks." That was totally unexpected especially since I had a great experience initially. So, I'm not sure who dropped the ball on the latter end. Align, job candidates deserve more.

Interview
After weeks of constant communication with A-Logan’s recruiter, I had a phone interview that lasted 45 minutes. The phone interview went really well, and the woman I spoke to seemed very excited about taking me on board. She asked me to send in writing samples and discussed the next parts of the hiring process. She never responded to my writing samples. I sent several emails to follow up about the interview, but she never responded. In my final email, I asked if my application was still under consideration, but I still did not receive a response. I saw that someone else had a similar interviewing experience, so now I know that I’m not the only one who was treated like this. It’s so unprofessional to take someone through the interview process and drop them without a word. I’m glad I’ve moved on to other opportunities. If you’re applying at A-Lign, don’t get your hopes up until you sign paperwork.
