Beware of Unethical Hiring Practices – Free Labor Disguised as a Test
I was given a lengthy assessment that took me hours to complete. I approached it professionally, dedicating my time and effort to showcase my skills, only to be completely ignored after submission. No feedback, no response, just silence.
After researching the company further, I noticed red flags. The same role is advertised in multiple cities, yet the company itself is not large enough to require that many strategists. This raises serious concerns about whether they are using applicants' work to complete real projects without compensating them.
It is deeply unprofessional and unethical to request work at this scale without providing any follow-up or transparency. If companies require intensive assessments, the very least they can do is offer constructive feedback—or better yet, compensate candidates for work that is clearly valuable to them.
For anyone applying here, be cautious. If they expect hours of unpaid labor before even considering you, that speaks volumes about how they operate.
