Five months of back and forth interviews (done on Tokyo time) to be told they wanted to make me an offer – but that full-time position that was offered was actually a part-time contractor position and the salary was (much) lower than the initial amount they led with. In other words, a classic bait-and-switch. Total waste of everyone's time.
