What are co-workers like at West Health?

The Company has a good mission and helps others. The supporting staff is friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately, working here is not worthwhile, despite the seemingly good mission and supportive staff. Administrative positions rarely last longer than six months, and that's if you even make it that long. Management will often claim that previous employees were the reason things didn’t work out. Still, the reality is that the executive team is incredibly hard to please, has impossible expectations, and often finds fault for no apparent reason. I was warned not to accept the role based on reviews, but I thought my experience would be different. However, the reviews turned out to be entirely accurate. The toxic work environment prioritizes the CEO's needs and a poor leadership style over investing in and developing staff. Choosing this job over multiple other good offers was a significant mistake.

The support staff and the team I worked directly with were a pleasure to work with and the highlight of my employment at West Health.

TOXIC / Stressful work environment. Unfortunately, for the company the Leadership team is lacking in professionalism, communication and leadership. While, the mission of Gary and Mary West (Founders) is one of compassion, empathy and overall goal makes wanting to be a part of the process and purpose out weigh the ever present negatives. As indicated by the low rating on Glassdoor (1.9) there are issues in the company. I never apply for anything under a 3-star rating BUT I was passionate about the mission so I took a chance! BIG MISTAKE!! After just a few months, it was obvious why the turnover was so high. Not only in the position I was in but within the company. BEWARE!!
