What is working from home like at Unity?

Excellent product, people are friendly, good worklife balance, work from home, optional office visits

Morale is low, senior leadership is not trusted, employees don't believe in the future of the company. We just got a CEO and sentiment is cautiously optimistic though.

Nice and talented people, always a good vibe at the office, the best workplace experience team one might imagine, delicious lunch, flexibility and ability to work from home if you want to.

The company has been going through a tough period recently so there's a lot of changes going on, and with that a lot of uncertainty and confusion. For EMEA and APAC employees work hours can be long as most people need to collaborate with colleagues in the US and Canada. Overall I found it difficult to keep a good work / life balance due to regular meetings outside of my normal working hours. On the other hand, I had lots of flexibility during the day and my manager has always been very supportive and caring.

-CEO and CFO insist on being based in New York, when the Company is based in SF. Earnings calls are at 5:30am because screw you West Coast. -CFO will stop at nothing until all the G&A, Accounting, Tax, and, Finance team members are located in Bangalore in an effort to cut costs. Offshoring is massive here and will only continue to expand. -Constant anxiety about layoffs. Sometimes they announce mass layoffs, but more often do it in smaller waves so as to not rattle the cage. -Top heavy org structure. There's probably as many or more SVP, VPs, Sr. Dir level folks as there are individual contributors/leads.

Very laid back, at least my team. Work from home freely, can go to the office whenever I please, with an effort to keep office interesting, free food etc.

After being here for 2 years, with a promotion. I've haven't had a significant pay rise. Even with a promotion
