What is a typical working day like at The AA?

Fantastic company to work for, supported at everything opportunity. No two days are the same, and the job offers variety every day. It is extremely rewarding to help members day and night and to offer knowledge and support

In my opinion there are no negatives

Good leadership, good support and good selection on shift patterns to suit every need. Everyday is different and every job is different in its own way, when I get home after my shift I always feel like I’ve made a positive change to someone’s day.

If you enjoy being worked like a dog for a below average HR salary, this is the job for you.

Nepotism, an unachievable workload, bullying, bad management and unprofessionalism. The HRSS is overwhelmed with work constantly , no support from senior management or team leads in regards to this. Increased workload but decreased team members. Senior managers do not maintain confidentiality about members of their own team, let alone the wider employees of the AA. Absolutely no opportunities to progress. The HR team as a whole are not interested in development at a lower level. Team wide wellbeing issues within HRSS. Team members working until late at night to meet deadlines. Not somewhere you want to work if you want to maintain any sort of positive mindset/ mental wellbeing.

Good salary, professional staff & workplace.

Some area are shift work.

I am well looked after, there is a good team spirit and am well paid compared to offer parts of the motor industry.

The shift work has never been a problem for me however it my not suit all.
