How are the career development opportunities at TD?

TD Bank offers great benefits, equal employer and opportunity for career advancement.

Toxic environment, micromanagement, and the team leaders are not helpful. Fellow colleagues went home crying due to the stress of the job.

Almost no expectations, very little work, low stress, stable business outlook

Zero career growth, no corporate/networking events, incapable/out of touch management, salary is far below market rate(see TD net income, Bharat Masrani salary, etc), passive aggressive people, nepotism from managers in hiring, working in silos, insane bureaucracy, difficult communication across teams, dirty&crowded offices

Great benefits, good learning opportunity to progress into other roles.

While there are plenty of excellent managers, the call centre environment inherently makes the job more hectic especially with the stress in regards to meeting sales and new business objectives.

Great team, encourage learning and growing into more senior positions, lots of opportunities for career expansion and promotions.

Sometimes difficult to cut through red-tape and rules at big company to give clients best service. Although TD does a great job making an effort to give you all the tools necessary, clients often get upset because of rules that you have no control over.
