What is the salary like at Southern New Hampshire University?

Admissions burns you out. Constant metrics, hard workers are never looked up upon. Team leads are not the best. Very chaotic. Very limited way for growth

SNHU is a positive, diverse, and encouraging work environment. I am in a online remote job in which the company provides all equipment. The support system is phenomenal, and they are always providing us the ability to learn through trainings in the most innovative approaches. The benefit package is great with the ability to attend one class per term. I enjoy working here, and I can see myself growing in this organization. They truly care about the employees as well as the students.

The only real cons is as a Finance Counselor, it can be a bit stressful at times during periods in the term. Management is very understanding and if you need an additional break or a few moments to breathe, you got it. They really do care about our wellbeing. The only other con is that the pay could be a bit higher for Finance Counselors, but they do give you opportunities to grow in your role to increase your wage and receive bonuses.

The pay is good for remote work

The computer systems are bad and there are always issues. Students will blame advisors for the issues that come up. They give surveys they say are anonymous but use it as a platform to placate the individual instead of realizing issues like they claim. They will play a guessing game on who is saying what in the surveys. This creates an unsafe environment and they won't do anything to make it right.

Good work life balance, decent pay.

It's hard to be a manager because remote work policies allow team members to routinely not show up for work, you can do almost nothing about it as a manager. Some major technology infrastructure issues make a lot of daily tasks needlessly complicated for students and employees alike. Pretty woke. I loved the professionalism and camaraderie of working at the Mill, working remote has really lost a lot of the spark.

mission/values are a plus at snhu

pay is low and no room for advancement especially for remote workers.
