How are the career development opportunities at Softwire?

- Lots of training and mentorship with dedicated intern trainers - Opportunity to work on real projects and present to clients - Detailed 2 week 'bootcamp' - Great social atmosphere among interns and lots of opportunities to talk to other employees - Great breakfasts!

- Interns often come in with varying levels of coding experience, so can be difficult to adjust initially. They do very well to get you up to speed though!

Softwire has a great and unique culture. You find it very hard to not have a good time in the office. Softwire also cares a lot about its people, and career progression is great here.

No cons in my opinion.

As a consultancy, you're sometimes at the whims of clients or bid processes. But generally we formed long lasting, productive relationships with clients which made this less painful.

Some projects can feel overly fast-paced at times, internal processes occasionally slow down decision-making, client demands can vary in predictability, career progression speed depends heavily on project allocation, and compensation may feel moderate compared to some larger tech firms.
