Does RTX offer bonus pay?

job security, very nice work life balance, flexible hours (mod,flex)

no remote work, low-ish pay for a city that's no longer a true LCOL, generally small merit raises, small bonuses, can get pigeon-holed into roles

The broad scope of the business portfolio ensures economic stability and relatively few layoffs. The work is essential to the defense of the country and the safety of military missions and civilian travel.

The business merged with several other businesses, and some people get bonuses, and some people don't. Since I accepted the offer, annual increases have been outpaced by inflation, and we do not get performance bonuses. Unfortunately, due to current business conditions, I don't see a pathway promotion in the near term and have started to look at external openings.

Guaranteed 40 hours of work

[1] It was a good place to work with flexible hours and hybrid capability. That was taken away. There are no positives working for less pay and hassle. [2] Attrition was nearly 40% over 2024 , so there is always work and job openings. Attrition is expected to maintain 40-60% (per corporate) thru the year due to new mandates.

(1) They are more concerned about Middle Manager / Corporate Position employees than anyone else. (2) Corporate Speak is everywhere, everything is face value and actions go against that. Employee Happiness and Flexibility is now a myth. [3] Pay is notoriously under market value. Pay raises and bonus periods are always under expectation and market values. [4] Company mandated on-site and middle managers will be tracking employee attendance. If you don't meet the new guidance they will "take action." [5] Benefits constantly change. 401k changed twice in 2 years. Benefits keep getting slimmed down for Corporate benefit.
