Pros
Good Pay & Benefits: Competitive pay, solid benefits, and decent overtime opportunities depending on experience and work ethic.
Interesting Work: The work itself was fulfilling and provided room for growth and professional development.
Nice Office and Cafeteria: The building in Clifton is modern and pleasant, with a good cafeteria offering a variety of food options.
Cons
Toxic Work Culture: The environment was often poisoned by rumors and gossip, which made it difficult to feel comfortable and focused. Personal information was shared without respect for confidentiality.
Unfair Management: Supervisors like Sarvjeet Singh and Group Lead Marween Dues showed bias, which created an uneven work atmosphere and affected team morale.
Violation of Privacy After Leaving: After I left Quest Diagnostics, I was deeply hurt to learn that Group Lead Wilma De Guzman shared personal details about my transition that I had not yet disclosed. Despite my explicit request for confidentiality, this information was spread among my former coworkers. This breach of privacy occurred after my departure but still left me feeling exposed and disrespected. It was a violation of my trust that affected me personally and emotionally.
Mental Strain: The constant gossip and disregard for personal boundaries were mentally exhausting and contributed to a negative work experience that I couldn’t sustain.
