A very easy job with no real growth opportunities

      Business outlook

      Pros

Amazing coworkers, the environment is pretty calm and friendly. I would recommend to work here if you want an easy job and want to have some free time to do other stuff, but don't expect to grow anything. It is a good job to have money for some time and then move on.

      Cons

No real growth opportunities, the job is very very easy and does not challeng you in any aspect, you are just filling spreadsheets for a mid salary. There are absolutely no growth opportunities unless you become friends with the higher ups, they prefer to hire outsiders instead of giving their people a raise.

Cutthroat company, no room for advancement

      Pros

The salary was ok for my experience at the time.

      Cons

The company is very insincere with things like performance reviews, career advancement prospects, and company plans.

      Pros

Great Work-Life Balance: The company emphasizes a healthy work-life balance, offering flexible working hours and remote work options. This flexibility allows employees to manage their personal and professional lives effectively.

      Cons

Limited Career Advancement: While there are learning opportunities, the company offers limited paths for career advancement. Promotions can be slow, and there's a lack of clear career progression for many roles.

Challenging work environment and lack of support – No recommendation for this employer.

      Business outlook

      Pros

Initial atmosphere: I joined the company because of a positive work environment, which has since deteriorated due to management change. Interesting tasks: Employees have varied tasks, although they might not always fit their expertise.

      Cons

Lack of support: The company offers no assistance to employees facing personal or professional challenges. Toxic atmosphere: A negative and deteriorating work environment, especially after the management change. Poor leadership: The new management is seen as lacking direction and empathy, with an inability to treat employees fairly. Intransparent promotions: No clear structure for career advancement, with promotions often based on favoritism. Poor compensation: Salary promises are not fulfilled, and raises are below inflation. Disregard for older employees: Older employees are systematically pushed out with unethical practices. Lack of social responsibility: The company shows no regard for social or environmental consciousness. Weak team cohesion: Significant turnover has led to a breakdown in colleague collaboration and solidarity. Outdated work conditions: Office equipment and general work conditions are considered substandard. Untrustworthy communication: Promises from leadership are frequently unfulfilled, leading to distrust. Lack of diversity and equality: Promotions and opportunities are not based on merit but personal connections.

      Pros

Supportive Leadership: I’ve had the privilege of working under exceptional leadership, including my manager and skip manager. Their trust, guidance, and strategic direction have been pivotal to my professional growth. Senior leadership is also approachable and consistently supportive, fostering a strong sense of inclusion and empowerment. Learning & Development: The organization is evolving into an AI-first business, building on its solid testing heritage. This transformation is backed by comprehensive learning initiatives across all verticals and accounts. Key efforts include: - The launch of an internal learning portal, Qcraft. - Strategic partnerships with platforms like Udemy and Mpirical for industry-relevant training. - Ongoing collaboration with external organizations to enhance learning through the Center of Excellence team. Collaborative Culture: Cross-functional collaboration is actively encouraged. The workplace is inclusive, respectful, and promotes open communication. Colleagues are approachable and always ready to lend support, making teamwork seamless and effective. Employee Wellbeing Initiatives: The organization places a strong emphasis on employee wellness through a variety of thoughtful programs: - Weekly Zumba and Yoga sessions. - Regular workshops on physical health, mental wellness, lifestyle, and modern parenting. - Partnerships with Silver Oak Health for free consultations on mental health, diet, and more. - Collaboration with The Wellness Corner to offer discounted health checkups, clinical appointments, and fitness subscriptions. Recognition & Feedback: The organization has a well-structured system for feedback and recognition. Employee contributions are regularly acknowledged, helping align individual efforts with business goals. The internal recognition platform, Qudos, adds a personal and visible touch to celebrating achievements.

      Cons

Honestly, I haven’t encountered any major drawbacks so far. The organization is highly receptive to constructive feedback and actively works on implementing improvements. That openness makes it hard to point out any real cons at this stage.

      Pros

Good for course/uni graduates without experience at all to gain some experience in the industry.

      Cons

      - Low salaries, no raises and even when they do give you a raise it's very low and they(the management) act like they're doing you a favor. - No growth opportunities, they promise to give you courses like automation so you could later advance to automation engineer roles, but eventually they tell to looks for courses online and study on your own. Previously they gave their employees free access to Udemy premium courses (which was the only good benefit they had at the time) but after some time they decided to switch to a "customized" learning platform (which lacked of actually good courses, because most of them are either very short or outdated) to save money on the premium access to Udemy. - Management: there is no clear hierarchy in the company, you can work on one project where your direct manager is responsible for another 100 people at the same time, good luck with trying to receive any attention in this way (sometimes you needed to reminder them of your existence in the company...).
