How are the career development opportunities at Planet Fitness?

Small staff, simple operations, and tons of customers

Not a lot of opportunities to move up, pay get stagnant

I enjoy my work, there are great benefits, 3-4 weeks PTO including floating holidays, I love the company culture

Unrealistic expectations, no recognition or way to move up currently, no work life balance

Great coworkers, easy job, good hours, growth opportunities.

Lack of consistent standards between gyms and certain staff.

Friendly and welcoming environment. Opportunity to interact with a variety of members. Easy job to learn with minimal training required.

Free membership is legit the only thing.

So many from allowing blatant racist to continue to workout there despite having several witnesses, to the homophobia sexism fat shaming from the personal trainer of all people. Pay was awful there was absolutely no career advancement outside of getting to pick your schedule. Management was never there post 5pm most night leaving staff with maybe 2 people to cover. No protective gear for hazards such as someone leaving their used diaper in the men's room shower.
