      Genuine People but Misguided Leadership

      Pros

The people at Perceptyx are intelligent, genuinely nice, supportive and friendly. The remote work environment offers flexibility. The possibility to work independently. Benefits are good.

      Cons

There's a significant lack of direction and clarity from management, making it challenging to understand and align with the company's goals. Top leadership is unskillful and seems to lack the necessary expertise to drive the company forward. Despite claiming to care for their employees, the actions of the management reflect a lack of genuine concern for the well-being and growth of the staff. The product is average at best and has become increasingly difficult to sell in a competitive market. The company has a troubling pattern of laying off employees and subsequently piling additional work on those who remain, often beyond their original job scope. There is no career progression for most people. They hire friends and family backdoor and promote them. This is probably the most openly dishonest and discriminatory practice I have seen at workplace. No DEIB policy or strategy in use/ just on paper/ lack of respect for other cultures and inclusivity. The work environment has become increasingly stressful due to these practices.

Good, but in the midst of an evolution

      Pros

The company is evolving to become a modern SaaS company. The vision for achieving this is pretty solid, and the company has fairly strong product-market fit. There is no shortage of growth opportunities on the Product side of the company. Also, there are lots of good people who work here, and your day-to-day can be great if you are on a good team.

      Cons

With the aforementioned SaaS evolution has come a lot change in leadership and direction, and this has negatively affected some parts of the company more than others. Some teams are understaffed and under a lot of pressure, leading to burnout. Additionally, the overall company culture is a bit bland, and most employees treat this company as a step in their career rather than a place they are excited to stay at long-term.

Great place to grow and succeed

      Pros

I've never worked with such amazing coworkers in my life – truly, the team here is exceptional. The sense of community is real, even with people I’ve never met in person, and collaboration feels seamless despite the remote-first setup. It’s clear that management genuinely prioritizes work-life balance, and with the workload we manage, it’s refreshing to see that commitment in action. My colleagues are consistently supportive, proactive, and always willing to teach and assist one another. Every manager I've had has been incredibly supportive, focusing on ensuring we take our flex time and removing any obstacles that might prevent us from doing our best work. There's a strong culture of trust here. While some managers may be a bit "hands-off" at times, it’s generally a positive reflection of the level of autonomy you’re given. The benefits are top-notch, with flexible time off and even pet coverage under the bereavement policy. It’s an environment that not only fosters professional growth but also offers a ton of experience to boost your resume. Perceptyx is an incredibly inclusive environment, especially for neurodivergent individuals, offering a supportive and understanding atmosphere for everyone to thrive. Being a remote-first company means there’s no pressure to return to the office, providing flexibility and enhancing work-life balance.

      Cons

There is a significant workload, and the pace of change—whether in systems, products, or processes—can be overwhelming. If you're not particularly adaptable or comfortable with a constantly evolving environment, it could be a challenge. Career progression is more lateral than upward due to the flat hierarchy, which means the traditional upward mobility might be limited. While there are many opportunities to learn and grow, the lack of paid external training might limit development in key areas for some employees.

      Collaborative Culture, Evolving With Growth

      Business outlook

      Pros

The people here are truly the greatest strength of the company — talented, collaborative, and committed to making projects successful. There is meaningful exposure to international work and large-scale initiatives, which creates fantastic opportunities for learning and growth. Flexibility in work arrangements is highly valued and contributes positively to work–life balance.

      Cons

As the company grows, its structures and processes naturally become more complex, which can increase cognitive load for employees. Communication channels from senior leadership often feel like one-way broadcasts instead of clear, interactive, and inclusive dialogue that would help all team members feel more engaged and supported. Hiring practices and team expansion sometimes make it harder for existing teams to see their development fully supported, which can impact morale.
