Pros
Optimal is the cream of the crop. 9 out of 10 agencies, in my opinion, are not worth hiring. Optimal is 1 out of 10. Everyone on the team is highly proficient at what they do. It's nice to have extremely knowledgeable team members. Moreover, there is a well-maintained work culture that is people-centric. You have an appointment? They'll accomodate. Have to drop your kids off at school every day? You can flex your time. Need to take a vacation? You won't be questioned about your leave. Just take it — reasonable planning and communication are expected. That's not a big deal, though. It's pretty standard. Want to be left to work? You aren't micromanaged. Even better when you're fully remote. The standards are high. But Optimal is the big leagues. It's the right place to level up. The education you get at Optimal is worth more than a master's degree. They have a high-quality pool of clients. There are standards and expectations for their prospects, and they don't take on anyone who doesn't seem like a good fit. Unlike other agencies, Optimal will say no.
Cons
The workload can be intense. Standards are high, but that's to be expected when you're in the big leagues. Compensation may not be as competitive for certain regions of the country.
