What is the hiring process like at Kimley-Horn?

Seems like a great company to work for and very driven people.

The interview process was a little misleading with the benefits and profit sharing.

Compensation - ESOP structure offers amazing benefit to long term employees - Competitive Salary offers Reputation - Well regarded engineering firm Job Security and Mobility - Company performs very well financially, lots of opportunities for upward mobility and long term growth Training - Company invests heavily in recruitment and development of talent. Training opportunities are plentiful, and it is a ripe environment for growth and skill development.

With all these amazing benefits, it is a demanding job. 115% effort, as they call it, is the expectation (minimum) which translates to working 46 hours a week on average. With that being said, I believe this is a fair tradeoff for the amazing benefits this company offers. Also, having to constantly drink the Kimley Horn "KHool-aid" can be a bit much at times, but overall I prefer a greater focus on culture as opposed to a lack of it.
