Online process was easy and went smoothly

I had surgery and was unable to drive, placed my order online for delivery couple hours prior to available delivery time available and got a delivery notification that my order was delivered. I never got a delivery and was told by the store manager that it's been happening a lot because Uber does the delivery and I guess the drivers keep the order. So I was left unprepared after surgery no food in my home that I could eat. They then promised to delivery at 7am the next day, that never happened, finally it showed up at 11:30 and I was very unhappy. Customer service and the local Jewel on 121st and Pulaski failed! And they behaved as if they didn't care.

It is already exhausting dealing with customers who lack emotional maturity, but management adding to that stress was a joke. Management lacked communication skills and enjoyed creating a hostile work environment. The hostility: petty behavior, passive, inappropriate remarks, gossip, etc. Being understaffed was also an issue, but the main contributor to this was the managers' lack of professionalism.
