No pay raise in 3 years Limited progression after Senior Associate (people don't become VPs until like 35-40 years of age)

Very poor pay increase / bonus unless you are top management/ certain front office roles.

CEO sees us as cattle and swears at us in Town Hall meetings. 5 day in-office mandated with little/no flexibility. Despite record performance every year, the bonus and pay increases are always the bare minimum they can get away with without causing a riot. Culture and environment feels oppressive, causing most people to not want to be there. There is zero incentive for the company to do well because success is not shared with anyone except those at the very top. The company invests in harmful practices and carried out banking for Epstein.

Pay is terrible and the career progression is is also terrible. There are people who have been analysts for 4+ years with no pay rise and promotion. Long hours and no overtime pay. We plus work a week a month worth of overtime and not receive any pay for it. They did say we could get leave back in lieu and then as we went to take it they said we couldn’t. Complete lack of trust and respect. Boring back office operations means the work it repetitive and extremely boring. For the reasons outlined above the staff turnover is the worst iv ever seen. Within 12 months while teams of 8 people resign and then are replaced and this cycle just repeats. It’s that back that they have a constant job opening so they can fill the expected resignations as fast as they can. They are aware of all of their short comings and have the money to change things but fundamentally it’s back office so they honestly just don’t care.

I think the pay is good, as long as your not expect to work over 8 hours which is in some cases it is true.

You do not know how much your bonus will be until the end of year. Also, you move to another role you do not get much increase in pay. Getting an increase pay is difficult.
