High intensity environment, working local for career lengths of time is only feasible in the Atlanta or home office areas - unless you work in a support department or a VP level role in one of the regional offices. Joint ventures are becoming more common place as larger projects continue to be taken on. Pretty common place with large nationwide GCs.
