What is a typical working day like at Giant Food?

Work with schedule, work with and interact with customers, team environment

Pay, benefits, managers rotating shifts

Not too hard, clean work environment. It is a wonderful store, just some things management can do better at.

Upper management can be very rude and dismissive if you try to bring up issues like needing more help, working alone during a busy shift. This is not about deli management, this is regarding store management, the ones who have no idea what it is like being alone with long lines of customer and no one to help or let you take a break. Also not much opportunities for advancement.

Everyone on the night shift was great to work with

Almost all management outside of the night crew were awful. They even tried to fire me because I got covid.
