What is the salary like at Foster Farms?

Good pay and benefits for central valley

no growth and being lied to. everyone is always talking about how the they will sell the company eventually

Pay is good decent management

lots of Saturday work lots of overtime

Was able to learn multiple areas on the production line. Local management was awesome and willing to train or allow you to grow as an employee as long as you want it.

Pay isn't that good. though wages are a bit above minimum wage the starting wage for entry level isn't that good. Local Management is good. However Foster Farms Corporate doesn't care, your easily replaced. The plant that I worked at was closed after the Company was Sold to Atlas Holdings so now they are closing many plants down, keeping or moving production in the states where the minimum wage is still 7.25 hr.

Great team, decent salary. Not very hectic.

Overtime is usually available every day

Low pay (used to be a coveted well paying job now it is minimum wage). Poor communication between departments, supervisors, leads, and employees. Also (for Turlock at least) probably the WORST union, seems like they are helping the company rather than the employees.

Be careful going to work for this company. I can't speak to the other locations, but the Glenwood area location and those in charge are shady about pay. We are considering filing a wage claim with the state because they are not wanting to pay a final paycheck and have withheld it for almost a week. They also pay Mexican workers about $3 less an hour than they pay US-born workers, which is illegal in every state and city of our country.

Pay is good and thats it.

Work-life balance sucks and if you are not part of the good old boys club, good luck getting promoted.
