      Does FedEx offer parental leave?

      FedEx reviews

No longer a great company to work for

      Pros

Friendly people, large budgets for projects, can have multiple careers within one company.

      Cons

Three days in office with little to no flexibility. The office space is horrible. Only offers 2 weeks paid parental leave and the health insurance coverage gets worse every year. You only get 10 days of PTO for the first 5 years and it doesn't increase again until your 10th year. It's hard to get promoted or increase salary. Annual bonuses are gone. Leadership is old and stuck in their ways. It's impossible to get anything done due to politics. FedEx used to be a great company, but it feels like they are now moving backwards and making it harder for employees to stay.

      Pros

You get to be by yourself all day I guess

      Cons

The way Fedex treats contractors is predatory and they don't care about your safety, benefits, or physical/mental health. Contract work happens so they're allowed to pay less and leave benefits up to the contractor manager, which good luck if you find one that cares about vehicle safety or general well-being. Also, Fedex itself is just allowed to tack on as much extra work as they please with no warning, adding extra time onto the start of the day with surprise packages. Also, every other delivery service that doesn't want their own workers breaking their backs dumps all their large packages onto us (and the package handlers who are also underpaid). Glassdoor is lucky I can't swear!
