Pros
Owner is extremely knowledgeable in GIS and web application development. Due to the nature of consulting it is a great place to grow your skillset. I learned a lot about many aspects of GIS and database management here and it has helped me tremendously in my career. The pay was very competitive. I was in grad school when I started and they were very flexible with scheduling. Overall I thought it was a great place to work.
Cons
It's a small company so health benefits and 401K were not really an option; However the pay more than made up for it and I was able to provide those things on my own. Consulting is not for everyone. It takes organization & communication skills to be successful.
