Pros
Remote work. Monday-Friday with no weekends for the specific department I’m in. The opportunity to make commission. Inbound calls. Weekly pay.
Cons
30 minute lunches for sales employees as well as less time off. Corporate gets an hour lunch and 20 days while the sales team gets 15 days. The pay is not great. They try to convince you that $14 an hour plus commission is where it’s at but fail to realize that their commission structure is terrible so you’re not really making decent money unless you hound customers relentlessly on every call to get them to buy. If you don’t do things EXACTLY their way then you’re a bad employee. The rules that they have on what you can and can’t say on the phone is extremely unrealistic. You can get written up and even terminated very easily if you don’t do things by their book. I understand due to the fact that they work with a lot of providers and they each have their own rules but it’s really hard to keep up with. As a new hire, you can get discouraged VERY easily. Half of the class I started with was gone by week 5. Management is alright. Nothing really to complain about there. I would just say if you’re absolutely desperate for a job then I guess go for it until you find another job.
