Competitive pay, flexible schedule, very tolerable job
Cons
Communication is a struggle. Setting up for your seasonal set is not very easy and if your regional boss doesn't have a clue you will struggle and miss your bonuses.
I appreciated the opportunity to be part of the Holiday Magic and made it a goal to have fun on every shift. The flexible hours offered an opportunity for extra income during the holiday season. If you work hard and are a reliable team player, you'll be prioritized for more hours. Always maintain a welcoming attitude and encourage families to visit the set, even during slower times—this way, they'll be more likely to return!
Cons
When it is busy, it is very busy—no lunch or bathroom breaks. Plan accordingly. The pay is minimum wage, and advancement opportunities are limited.
Fun job, lots of interacting with the public, fun with babies, kids and pets, easy on the job training, rewarding, flexible schedule, supportive management
Cons
Seasonal only, sometimes long days and irritable customers
