Pros
You can choose 10 items for wardrobe completely free once per quarter. All employees also get a 50% off discount.
Cons
The company genuinely does not care about any of their employees. Retail Associates and Floor Leads are horrendously underpaid (minimum wage). They claimed to have a bonus structure, but they won’t pay the bonus if employees go over the stores allocated hours for the month - essentially, you’re punished for staying late or picking up shifts to help out your team. You’ll likely never see a bonus, but if you do, it’ll be small. There’s also no wellness benefit, which I thought is interesting given Alo’s “values”. Employees are always complaining and it’s quite a miserable work environment. I wouldn’t recommend unless you just need to make a couple extra bucks or want to take advantage of the wardrobe perk.
