What are pay raises like at ATB Financial?

Benefits and pension was great. Some of the coworkers are amazing, depends where you work.

Honestly, if you're looking to really grow your career in Product Management, ATB might not be the best spot. They don't really follow the typical Product Management playbooks. The culture here is super competitive, almost cut throat. People, including leaders, will often step on others just to get ahead, even if it's a small leg up. This gets worse because we usually see layoffs around Q4 and constant reorgs. All these changes mean everyone is overworked and constantly confused about who does what. Another thing: your starting salary might be outpaced by what new hires are getting, which is frustrating. ATB used to be a fantastic place to work, but honestly, it's been going downhill pretty steadily for years.

The pension is good. So are the benefits. Salary is decent if you are a new hire. Remote work is great.

Salary freezes. Don’t have a differing opinion or you’ll be blackballed. SLT is a joke and they have no solid strategy. Misogyny is alive at the SLT table, the board just needs to do a headcount of how many female managers were “asked” to retire or got laid off.

The best work culture I’ve ever witnessed and experienced. Stable salary, credible employer. Good benefits.
