Pros

Vouch has gone through a big change over the past year, and the future looks bright: in 2025 it sold its carrier business to Hiscox and since then has doubled down on building an AI-driven insurance brokerage focused on ambitious companies. This new direction and focus has been great for us, and translated into strong momentum as we enter 2026.

Cons

Change is constant in a start-up, especially one serving a dynamic market. Be ready to work hard and to work smart.

Pros

The caliber of people here is genuinely high — engineers are collaborative, sharp, and deeply engaged in the work. Vouch is solving a real and underserved problem in insurance, and the impact shows up directly in client outcomes and real business results. Comp and benefits are competitive, and there's meaningful room to grow. As an EM, I've had the autonomy to build, shape, and drive outcomes that actually move the needle for the business and the customers we serve.

Cons

Vouch is in the middle of a meaningful evolution — transitioning from a broker and MGA model to a pure brokerage powered by technology and AI. That shift comes with the expected growing pains of any company navigating real strategic change. Some leadership decisions haven't always landed perfectly or been communicated as clearly as they could be. That said, what sets Vouch apart is that leadership owns those moments, takes accountability, and is willing to course correct.
